1. You Expect Profits Without Losses

A business is two sided. It'll never give you substantial profits always. Losses aren't signs of a failing business, at times losses ate brought by seasons.

2. You Spend Your Business Profits

You cannot grow your business when you spend your profits. These are what are to be used for expansion. When u see profits as your salary, your prone to fail or never expand. Use the least of your profits for personal expenses.

3. Sympathy Effects

Don't turn your business to a sympathy venture after buying your stocks using your money. E.g if u sell kids cloths, then you get invited for a kid's birthday, u decide to pick one of your stocks because you don't have money to buy a present. You'll pick all of them until u have nothing left to sell.

4. Friends' Meeting Point

Unless they want to promote you, your business area remains for business. Don't invite people to come say hi or make stories at your business location. Or hosting visitors in your business area. It lowers your attention to clients when socializing in the business area.

5. Eating Your Business

You will know you have a problem when you literally eat your business yet we need to eat FROM the business. Eating your business means you keep picking business stock for personal use without cash because you own the business. It's very common with pub owners, food kiosks and boutique owners. Unless u have money to spend on what you are selling, let the business make u money to spend.
