We are pleased to share with you that PAMCA - Women in Vector Control is organising it first Annual Conference on the theme "𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗩𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹: 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀".

This conference is scheduled to take place on 29 November 2024 at the Golden Peacock Hotel Blantyre, 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘄𝗶.

This ground-breaking event will feature expert panels, workshops, and networking opportunities designed to empower women in the field, promote innovative strategies in vector control, and strengthen community health initiatives.

On 14 November 2024, PAMCA in collaboration with the MalariaGEN at Wellcome Sanger Institute hosted a thought provoking symposium on Malaria Vector Genomics Surveillance in Africa – a Pan-African led initiative aimed at advancing our understanding of Anopheles vector genetics for improved Malaria control across sub-Saharan Africa at the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (ASTMH)
