In this book, Helfer recounts the life of Zamba, a lion he worked with during his time as a provider of trained animals for Hollywood movies in the fifties and sixties. Zamba was originally found as a weakened orphaned cub in Africa but soon transported to Ralph’s farm in the USA where he grew up.
