We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Light Academy for visiting the Vision Center of the Disabled Kenya (VCDK) for a Community Service Day.
Your time, energy, and generosity brought joy, dignity, and renewed hope to our beneficiaries. Through your support to meaningful engagements, you demonstrated true compassion, inclusion, and servant leadership.
We deeply appreciate the students, teachers, and administration of Light Academy for choosing to stand with us and for instilling values of empathy and social responsibility in young people.
Thank you for making a lasting impact and for reminding us that together, we can build a more inclusive and caring society.

The Government is conducting a nationwide mapping and registration of persons with disabilities in all 47 counties. This initiative aligns with the ongoing enrollment of Kenyans in the government's Social Health Authority (SHA). To register for SHA as a person with a disability, you must include a certificate of registration with NCPWD. This registration on SHA also benefits you in accessing other services, including assistive devices such as wheelchairs, crutches, hearing aids, etc.
This is part of the government's initiative to ensure 100% universal health coverage for persons with disabilities.
