MY HIDING PLACE by D.H.A.

Sin sought after me,
Calamity fought my knee,
From guilt was not free,
Somehow the world got me to see.

I learnt the many faces,
At least got me out of tough phases,
Street face for the faeces in the streets that lingered and sought me to cling...on like leprosy.

A painful painting of a panting heart tired of carrying a heavy cross, laden with sin.
My sin.

My sin was one,
I was without Him he said,
For in Him all are saved. With Him all was made and without Him nothing was made.
Yet here I am,
Freedom I so craved.
Another promise he gave,
He said," under my wings you will stay"
I wanted to be saved and his pinions I found warm and safe, far from myself.

Found a place to hide
A place to hide found me.
