Delete These 5 Things from Your CV—They're Killing Your Chances.
Let's stop shooting ourselves in the foot with outdated info. If your CV still has any of these, it’s time to declutter:
1/ Marital Status – Unless you're applying to Tinder it doesn't belong there.
2/ Religious Background–Faith is personal. Keep it off your professional paper unless the role specifically requires it.
3/ ID & PIN Numbers–Your CV is not a biodata form. No recruiter needs that. It's a privacy risk too!
4/ Random Hobbies–Watching Netflix isn't a skill. If it doesn't speak to the role or spark curiosity, delete.
5/ References–This isn't 1900. If a recruiter wants them, they'll ask. Save the space. You're actually exposing them.
