Over the weekend, learners from Highlands Group of Schools went on an exciting hike at Mount Kenya through Sirimon Gate.

The experience was more than just an adventure. As they explored the beautiful landscapes, learners built physical strength, mental resilience, and teamwork while supporting and encouraging one another along the trail.

The challenge gave them a strong sense of accomplishment and reminded them that great rewards come from perseverance and stepping beyond their comfort zones.

Experiences like these play an important role in shaping confident, resilient, and well-rounded learners. Beyond the classroom, our students gain life skills, build lasting friendships, and learn the value of determination and teamwork. Students from Highlands Group of Schools dived in with confidence during the swimming competition at the PIPSSA Kenya Tournament held in Nanyuki. With every powerful stroke and determined kick, our swimmers pushed through the water showing focus, courage, and true competitive spirit.

It wasn’t just about the race — it was about discipline, resilience, and the thrill of challenging oneself. Each lap told a story of practice, determination, and the pride of representing their school.
