If you disconnected from someone due to what someone else said negatively about them, and not from your own personal experience, shame on you! Especially if you claim to be a Christian.

The mature, Godly thing to do is to go to the person directly to find out the truth or learn them for yourself; not from what was said about them which may not be true.

There are usually hidden motives behind gossip, lies and half-truths.

So, stop missing your God-ordained relationships over gossip, slander and rumors. You may be missing your blessing listening to lies, slander and double-tongued, snake-ish conversations.

Your greatest weapon in the middle of battle is worship because nothing makes the enemy flee faster than when he hears praise and gratitude lifted up to heaven during the hardest trials of your life. Paul and Silas were chained up in prison for preaching the gospel but they didn’t complain, instead they praised God and through that chains were broken, prison doors were opened, and lost souls were saved. Don't wait to worship God when you already have victory, praise Him now and your victory will come.
