This is how we spent our Christmas with Mureti’s family.
One year ago,her mother suffered a stroke that left her with limited mobility. Since then life has changed completely.

Mureti is now the sole breadwinner working as a night watchman.By day,he becomes a full-time caregiver feeding his mother changing her pampers and ensuring she is cared for with dignity and love.

A few weeks ago,we visited the family and made a promise to support them with a wheelchair and some small upkeep.Today,we are grateful to say we kept our word.

We share this not to seek praise but to encourage each one of us to extend a helping hand to those in need.We strongly believe that the best time to give is not when we have plenty,but when we have little.

We managed to visit Kagendo’s home, and oh my God, the situation is heartbreaking. They live in a tiny house that serves as a kitchen during the day, and at night it’s converted into their bedroom. Truly, words can’t describe the hardship they endure. We must plan to visit them again soon.
