WORLD DONKEY DAY 2026
Caritas Kitui with support from The Brooke East Africa will be celebrating this special day on Friday, 8th May 2026 at Nguutani Market Shed, Mwingi West Sub County, Kitui County.
Themed," Preserving Africa's Donkeys is our Collective Responsibility ", the day will bring together our staff , stakeholders, Donkey users / owners and Donkey Care Clubs (DCCs) Pupils who work tirelessly in promoting Care and Protection of the working donkey.
It will be an engaging and a very impactful day. There will be a Free Donkey clinic and Exhibitions from our Donkey Care Clubs (DCCs) as well as Donkey users/owners.
