Nobody Owns Me

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐂𝐎𝐒𝐓 𝐎𝐅 𝐏𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄 is a new body of work by 𝑺𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒂 𝑺𝒊𝒏𝒐 that explores what it means to remain visible, engaged, and accountable in a rapidly changing world. Through painting, text, memory, and material traces, the exhibition reflects on the responsibilities, quiet acts of endurance, and personal sacrifices that shape who we become.
At its heart, the exhibition asks a simple but urgent question:
What does it cost to be fully present—to yourself, to others, and to the communities you call home?

Join us for the Opening Reception on Saturday, 4th July 2026, from 2pm to 7pm at Annex Gallery, Kibera Arts District.
Along side a soft public introduction of Santana Sino's poetry collection, 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐖𝐞 𝐊𝐞𝐞𝐩, 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐖𝐞 𝐁𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞—a reflective body of writing that explores memory, identity, love, loss, and the stories we carry within us.

Thank you to everyone who made it for the opening of the KAD trio exhibitions, last weekend. The joy, laughter and energy that filled the spaces was an experience to we all longed for.
