This week, we were honored to welcome visitors from Don Bosco Kakuma Kenya to witness the progress of the programs we have collaborated with them at our center.
The visit was to observe the impact of the program firsthand, and reflect on the milestones achieved together. It was inspiring to showcase how collaboration is creating opportunities for youth in kakuma, develop their skills, confidence, and knowledge needed to build a brighter future.
Beyond celebrating progress, the visit also focused on strengthening our collaboration and exploring new opportunities to expand our shared impact. Through continued collaboration, we aim to reach more learners, enhance program quality, and create sustainable pathways for education, digital skills, and youth empowerment.
At TEACH FOR COMMUNITY , we believe that lasting change is built through strong partnerships and a shared commitment to empowering communities.
We sincerely thank Don Bosco for their continued trust, support, and belief in our mission. We look forward to the next chapter of our partnership and the greater impact we will create together.

When humanitarian funding cuts happen, children’s education is often the first to feel the impact.
Classrooms become overcrowded. Teachers are overwhelmed by the growing number of learners. Parents struggle to provide learning support, and many children risk being left behind.
At Teach For Community, we believe every child deserves access to quality learning despite these challenges. That is why, in partnership with the The Avy Project, we are creating a new pathway for children to learn anytime and anywhere through digital education.
Through this platform, children are able to learn while earning, helping them stay motivated as they build foundational literacy, STEM knowledge, and financial awareness skills. The program also introduces children to technology at an early stage, preparing them for a rapidly changing digital world.
This approach not only supports children’s learning journey, but also helps reduce pressure on overcrowded classrooms, teachers, and parents by creating flexible and accessible learning opportunities beyond the traditional classroom setting.
