The peace meeting in the Soba region brought together residents from the Mombwo–Soba cluster for a powerful learning moment.
What began as a fun knotting game gradually opened space for dialogue, each rope twist revealing stories, concerns, and a shared desire for harmony.
By the time the last knot was tied, new friendships had formed, misunderstandings had softened, and the community agreed:
Peace is a collective investment, and everyone has a role to play.
The journey to lasting peace in Nandi County continues!
Through games, dialogue, and shared experiences, communities are discovering new ways to resolve conflict with understanding and respect.
ADS North Rift is proud to walk alongside these champions of peace.

The Owesho Self Help group in Masol Ward completed a successful green gram harvest under the FOSECCA(Food Security and Climate Change Adaptation) project. Their hard work came together, baskets emptied, pods sorted, and clean seeds gathered into one abundant pile.
This harvest is a major milestone. It strengthens seed banking efforts, ensures farmers have quality seeds next season, and boosts local food security.
For the women of Owesho, every handful lifted represents dedication, teamwork, and hope for an even better harvest year.
Owesho celebrates a plentiful green gram harvest, clean, sorted, and ready for seed banking. A strong step toward food-secure communities. In partnership with DanChurchAid and Bread for the world

Soetgaa Self-Help Group, through FOSECCA(Food Security and Climate Change Adaptation) training, learned how to construct raised sheds to dry and store bulb onions safely.
Working side by side, they built a structure that now protects their hard-earned harvest from moisture and pests.
What began as a challenge became a powerful lesson in unity, innovation, and climate resilience.
Small changes create lasting impact.
Raised sheds help farmers reduce post-harvest losses and strengthen their livelihoods.
The Soetgaa Self-Help Group is showing how simple climate adaptations can secure food and income for entire communities. 🌾💚
