I.T Intern Vacancies at Quantum Analytics Limited
Quantum Analytics is a Private Limited Company Registered under the companies Act of the republic of Kenya. We are based in Eldoret town and wish to recruit IT interns within the county of Uasin Gishu.
IT Internship Purpose
To provide IT technical support to the company’s clients to enable achievements of organizational objectives
Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
i. Respond to user requests for service
ii. Troubleshoot problems and develop solutions
iii. Support PC hardware components, desktop operating system software and application software
iv. Perform minor repairs to equivalents and arrange for other servicing needs
v. Monitor backup systems and procedures to ensure data security
vi. Facilitate in data entry of records
vii. Provide user training for basic hardware and software use.
viii. Maintain open communication and positive working relationship with staff.
Desired skills and Experience for IT Intern
The successful candidate will have:
i. A bachelors degree or diploma in Information Technology, Business information Technology, computer Science, or computer related field
ii. Proficiency in computer applications with basic understandings of computer network cabling and network file and print services
iii. Experience in supporting recent versions of Microsoft office Applications
iv. Awareness of the PC hardware components, desktop operating system software, and application software.
v. Ability to work well in a team environment
vi. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
vii. Ability b to work under minimal supervision
viii. Ability to perform tasks such as operating system and application software installations and upgrade as well as virus protection and eradication
ix. Must be willing to commit at least 6 months initially for an internship.
