Riko agrobiz is tomato producing farm in Baringo county targeting the local population.it aims at producing 15 tonnes of quality tomatoes annually.it produces fresh tomatoes for parties,restaurants,institutions of learning,community ceremonies,local consumers and groceries.

NURSERY BED PREPARATIONS
-Plough the soil at least 15cm deep and 1m wide..done 1-2weeks before sowing
-Prepare good Nursery bed.harrow to break the big clods.
- Beds should be raised and and soil mixed with Animal manure(goat manure) because onions germinates and grows faster in a loose soil
-Make rows 1-2cm deep and 10 cm from each other
-Drill the seeds and cover with thin layer of soil
-Seed rate 1-1.5kg per acre
-Apply mulch and water twice a day
-Seedlings become ready for transplanting within 40-45days, when they are pencil thick height of 10-15cm with 3-5 well formed leaves
NB: before planting/Sowing seeds kindly drench with Confidor insecticide,Ridomil gold fungicide and Easter grow starter foliar.
