It's exactly 2 months since we began the jigger treatment under Egemeo Foundation in Emuleche sub location in Butere Subcounty, Kakamega County. So far 224 learners including some members of the community have accessed the treatment. Out of the 224, 145 are male and 79.females. We have reported the following:-
1. Healing
2. Improved self esteem
3. Joy among the attendees
4. They can now afford to play games using their legs
5. Improved health due to the healthy meals that are provided during the treatment
6. Improved hygiene levels
Apart from meals they're are also provided with crocks to prevent them from walking bare footed after the treatment.

The process is still continuing and our target is to reach 500 learners plus members of the community.
