The IEEE- EMB HU chapter is part of the Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (EMBS), which in turn is part of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE). The chapter and society's field of interest is the application of concepts from the physical and engineering sciences to the fields of medicine and biology. EMBS and chapter members are not necessarily electrical engineers

We are pleased to announce that Day 3 of the course will be led by Eng. Abdallah Shammout, a Biomedical Engineer who graduated from Hashemite University in 2022. He currently works at Israa Consulting and Trading Corporation as a technical support and specialist in cardiac electrophysiology and Abbott’s 3D ablation systems.
This session will cover the basics of heart anatomy and ECG interpretation, recognizing different arrhythmias, understanding the concept and benefits of 3D cardiac mapping, and exploring ablation techniques using advanced systems such as Abbott’s EnSite.
