Spent Saturday in Wadi Rum— two days later, I'm still in awe. The desert's silence, strength, and sheer beauty are beyond words. There's a deep, grounding magic in Jordan—something ancient that you feel in your bones. Grateful for the peace and power this place shared.

Yesterday I paid another unforgettable visit to —an awe-inspiring Site. I’m so happy to see so many tourists enjoying the magic of the site. This is a testament to the incredible work of the Petra Authority. The in Jordan is proud to be a part of helping safeguard this global treasure for millennia to come.

Merry Christmas to all who celebrate! I’m so grateful to have a moment of peace and love with family at home. Much love and prayers for peace to my family of friends, colleagues and partners on this day, and especially to all those we know across the region who are suffering a brutal 15 months of ongoing war and instability. We incessantly pray for you & for peace, today & always.

Thank you to Deputy PM/Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi and his team for receiving the new UN Relief Chief Tom Fletcher. The UN-Jordan relationship is strong. So pleased to be with USG Fletcher this first visit and to share with him how Jordan plays a leading role among nations.
