My morning started early repping for the team facilitated by ‼️ The media campaign included radio stations Canada, the UK & our very own ... needless to say; I had the BEST morning EVER!

‼️Emotional Post Alert‼️
Last Sunday I got on the road about this time... a few team members & I left the Yard Mas Village at 7am & I went home exhausted & emotional. They say crying is cleansing because the bawl I pudding at mi yard was crippling! We planned... we worked... we strategized... we pivoted & the day is now HERE! At one point I didn't even think I was going to make it on the road.
But there will always be the calm voice that says 'but you have to...' & as a 'carnival road woman' who has never been on a truck for a carnival in the 20 years I've been doing it... I walked, danced, smiled, hugged our masqueraders to a vibe that only 'Yardies' can understand!
THANK YOU to all the supporters of ... all the partners & sponsors & spectators & those who even if they aren't on the road will never stop cheering us on!
