Hey everyone,

This will be my last social media post for a while. My father died last night, and my soul feels shattered yet also empty.

It will take some time for me to return to my regular schedule. To everyone I promised interviews and live chats, I need a few weeks.

It sucks that I also have a new release in the Kincaids' world.

My father often teased me about reading romance. He would seriously do this girly pose, flutter his lashes, and say, “Oh, Jack, how I love you,” in a falsetto voice.

Every time he passed me or my sister with a romance, especially the ones with the sexy covers, he would swoon, press his hands against his chest, and say, “Oh, Stacy…Kaida…how I love you.”

It always made us laugh. He also urged us to read other genres. Incredibly, he handed me my first Western novel, The Lonesome Gods by Louis L'Amour, when I was twelve years old. I fell in love with the genre and now own dozens of Louis L’Amour’s works. It’s no exaggeration to say that love inspired The Kincaids.

I have no idea why I am even talking about it when it is so damn hard, but I think I just wanted to share how my dad inspired my love of Westerns.

I just got two of my best buddies to read this and several others over the past few months and I got two dms from friends this morning saying they downloaded and curious to find out why I love this book. Why I gave this book 5+ wolf stars ✨🐺

So while I was reading I had a kink unlock that I didn’t realize did it for me. A hero obsessed with the scent of the heroine. I’ll raise this even more. The man is a wolf (actually lived with a pack) so read into that whatever you will 😈. A man dominated by scent and smells, Especially when that scent reveals who Jules Southby really is. READ TO FIND OUT WHAT I MEAN.

This book had everything. This was so well written I just want to weep. The passion, unbridled lust..James being allowed to give in to his “baser” instincts. Just read people. I will always choose the wolf, no matter the story…except Twilight 🤣
