Banana fritters are a favourite of mine. I usually don't use a recipe but here is one for those of you who would like to try them

Do you like Downton Abbey? I loved that show and I'm still in withdrawal from the series finale! However revived it for one afternoon of an afternoon tea in honour of my sister's birthday. So we wore our hats and pearls (no gloves - too hot and impractical) and indulged in a British/Jamaican high tea. On the menu - cucumber sandwiches, orange cranberry scones, English Trifle, smoked salmon, assorted cheeses, assorted crackers and the touch of Jamaica came from Jamaican codfish fritters (aka Stamp & Go). We washed all of that down with lemonade and Sangria and of course tea! The sangria? Just because we like it!
