Weddings by The Workshop is delighted to invite you to our Wedding Showcase Weekend at the exclusive and unique venue, Maison des Landes. This is your opportunity to explore this incredible new wedding setting, view the three beautiful ceremony areas, and imagine how your own day could look and feel.

Maison des Landes is available for weddings from 1st October through to the end of April, and on the day we’ll be explaining our simple per-person pricing plan, designed to offer an all-inclusive, stress-free approach to your wedding.

This is also a wonderful opportunity to view many of the pieces available in our collections, including décor items, tablescapes, furniture, photobooths, audio guestbook phones, DJ equipment and lighting, all styled to inspire ideas for your own celebration in any wedding venue.

Wow, wow, wow!!! I have just discovered, whilst doing a bit of research with Ruth Glenn, that Clothes Sense Ltd was established in 1976! This, I'm pretty sure, makes us the longest established alterations company in Jersey!
Clothes Sense was founded by Ruth's late sister Jenny Bouchere in the building next door to where we are now - where Bracken and Barrett the dentist surgery is. She created and rented fancy dress outfits and did alterations. Around 1978 Jenny had to find new premises as the building was in disrepair and was eventually condemned. Through one of her clients she found the current premises at 14, Sand Street, Ruth took over the business in 1993 and I bought it from her in October 2021. So there you are, this is our 50th Jubilee year and still going strong!
