It was a pleasure to welcome the 𝗠𝗮𝘅𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗺 𝗚𝗲𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗮 team to our headquarters on 12 and 13 May for a training session on the latest additions to our product ranges, with a special focus on 𝗥𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗽𝗹𝘂𝘀 🌧 and 𝗠𝗩𝗛𝗥 🌀.

𝗔𝗤𝗨𝗔𝗡𝗘𝗦𝗧 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗩𝗔𝗟𝗦𝗜𝗥 𝗣𝗢𝗟𝗦𝗞𝗔 💙

In recent months, Valsir Polska plant in 𝗦𝗸𝗮𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗮 was fitted with a rainwater management system. Designed to reduce the risk of flooding 🌊, and ensure compliance with the strictest SuDS (Sustainable Urban Drainage System) requirements.

The project involved installing 𝗮 𝟮𝟬𝟬 𝗺³ 𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗸 containing Aquanest modules, which is dedicated to collecting water 🌧 from industrial roofs, logistics areas, and car parks for heavy goods vehicles.

As the water also came from traffic areas 🚛, 𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗼𝗶𝗹𝘀, 𝗵𝘆𝗱𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀.

The project therefore combines:

✅ Environmental sustainability
✅ Hydraulic safety
✅ Soil protection
✅ Operational continuity of the plant.

The installation was carried out to the highest standards and represents the perfect case study in the 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲! 🌳🏭

𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗣𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗧, 𝗕𝗘𝗜𝗝𝗜𝗡𝗚, 𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗔 🏔🏃‍♂️

The second round of the 𝗪𝗠𝗥𝗔 𝗠𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗥𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗖𝘂𝗽 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, with two races, took place in China.

The first event was the Uphill Race held on the historic Juyongguan section of the Great Wall: an explosive 3.5 km time trial with over 500 metres of elevation gain, run with individual starts every 10 seconds. In one of the most spectacular races on the world calendar, victory went to Italy’s 𝗜𝘀𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗼 𝗖𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗮, who put in an extraordinary performance ahead of Kenya’s 𝗣𝗮𝘂𝗹 𝗠𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗸𝗮 and fellow Italian 𝗔𝗹𝗲𝘅 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗱𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗶. In the women’s race, victory went to Switzerland’s 𝗠𝗮𝘂𝗱𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗵𝘆𝘀, who dominated the gruelling steps of the Great Wall.

The athletes then competed in the Beijing Changping Classic, an up-and-down race of around 18 km with over 1,200 metres of elevation gain along the technical trails of the 𝗦𝗶𝗹𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗮𝗴𝗼𝗱𝗮 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁. In the men’s race, victory went to Kenyan 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗲𝗹 𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗹𝗼 𝗦𝗮𝗼𝗹𝗶, whilst in the women’s race his compatriot 𝗝𝗼𝘆𝗰𝗲 𝗡𝗷𝗲𝗿𝘂 came out on top, once again confirming the strength of the Kenyan team on the world circuit.

The third race will be in 𝗟𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝗹𝗺𝗮, 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗻!

𝗦𝗔̄𝗢 𝗕𝗥𝗔́𝗦 𝗖𝗥𝗢𝗦𝗦, 𝗖𝗔𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗢 𝗗𝗔𝗜𝗥𝗘, 𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗨𝗚𝗔𝗟 🏔🏃‍♂️

The 2026 𝗪𝗠𝗥𝗔 𝗠𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗥𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗖𝘂𝗽 got underway in Portugal with the traditional São Brás Cross race in Castro Daire. The 10.9 km course, featuring 628 metres of elevation gain, offered a demanding combination of steep climbs, technical descents and constant changes of rhythm, immediately delivering an exciting opening race for the world circuit.

In the women’s race, Kenya’s 𝗥𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗚𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗮 𝗠𝘄𝗶𝗵𝗮𝗸𝗶 claimed victory with a strong performance, taking the lead during the second half of the course. In the men’s race, fellow Kenyan 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗲𝗹 𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗹𝗼 𝗦𝗮𝗼𝗹𝗶 secured the win, making the difference on the toughest sections and finishing ahead of his rivals with authority.

The 2026 World Cup therefore begins under the sign of Kenyan dominance, already confirming a very high technical level from the opening event. 🥇
