European Congress of Radiology (ECR) 2026 - Vienna, March 4-8, 2026
It was a pleasure to attend ECR 2026 in Vienna and share some of our recent work with the international imaging community.
During the congress, our group contributed with two presentations. gave a talk on the "effect of temporal resolution in Resting-State fMRI Fingerprinting", while shared a poster titled "Advancing Prostate Imaging with Oxygen-Responsive MRI Biomarkers: a Preliminary Experience".
Many thanks to the European Society of Radiology (ESR) for organizing such an engaging event. Congratulations to all the speakers and researchers for their insightful presentations—exchanging ideas on the future of MRI is always a great source of inspiration.

We’re excited to share our two contributions to the XVI Congresso Nazionale AIRMM - ISMRM Italian Chapter (Lecco, March 24-26, 2025)! 🎉
🖼️ Poster 1: Automatic Segmentation of Liver and Pancreas: A Comparative Analysis of AI-Based Tools Using the Dixon Method. We explored the performance of AI-driven segmentation tools for abdominal imaging, comparing their effectiveness in liver and pancreas quantification.
🖼️ Poster 2: Intra-site Variability on Structural Brain Imaging: Insights from Retrospective Harmonization on T1w and DWI. Our study investigates scanner-dependent variability in brain imaging and the role of retrospective harmonization in improving consistency across different MRI units.
Both projects highlight the importance of AI, image processing, and harmonization techniques in advancing medical imaging research.
A huge thanks to our team and collaborators for their hard work and dedication!
📢 Stop by and check out our posters if you're attending AIRMM! Let us know your thoughts in the comments!

Motion artifact in T2 FSE TRA sequence of the prostate with small FOV and AP phase encoding direction (patient in supine position with arms along the body) due to poor patient preparation.
The motion artifact is resolved by changing phase encoding direction to RL but foldover artifact is introduced.
This artifact (red arrow) is eliminated by changing the phase encoding direction to RL, doubling the FOV and matrix sizes to maintain the same spatial resolution.
