Nicole and I first met years ago in San Francisco, back when I was still living there. We were both in the wine industry, and later reconnected for the launch of Airbnb Experiences in SF. This year, she called me and said: ‘We need to go back to the States and bring an Italian wine destination—shall we?’ Of course, I said yes ✌🏼 In May, we designed an original trade experience together for California’s top buyers, sparking curiosity with a new appellation for the market: Lugana. Such a great memory—and a strong desire to do it again! 💃🏻🕺🏻
