It’s always great to see a dream come true and that’s exactly what happened this week in Scotland. About a year ago we decided to host a workshop in the Scottish Highlands, at a magical place we had recently discovered, Boath House.
To make it work we need a great place, a terrific group of people. Like minded, passionate collaborators and sometimes, a touch of luck. It’s safe to say that we’ve had all of the above in abundance over the past few days.

We are dying to return and we have decided to come back in Summer, when Scotland is in bloom, when mushrooms can be foraged ... when we can, with some bravery, swim in the sea.

Our dates for next year are:

Scottish Highlands Workshop - the Summer version
July 21st - 25th, 2026

For more information about this and other upcoming workshops please send us a mail at [email protected]
or click on the link in bio for the full lineup ahead.

We had the luck of the devil with the weather, locals shook their heads in disbelief and delight. Boath House is a wonderful Georgian mansion and the place is fortunate enough to be now headed by Chris Lewis, one of the nicest people we’ve met and UK’s foremost forager, and his team. The Chef’s, Iain and Vivien cook seriously delicious food and he’s a wizard with fire. Every bite this week was better than the last. They are simply wonderful people.
We had lessons with the incredible tartan historian , whisky tastings, garden tours and foraging. Some of us made cheese while others drove to Isle of Skye for a hike, whisky and oysters. Mostly we just enjoyed good food at long tables, sometimes we dressed up, sometimes we dressed down but the mood was always soaring. There’s something about these workshops, spending time, sharing our lives and discovering together, that’s hard to explain. Connecting with other people, in a new place may be the greatest recipe of all.
