🌱 A Thriving Reed Bed: Nature Strikes Back! 🌱
After-LIFE activities in 2025 continue to yield remarkable results! Recent field surveys reveal that the reed bed is flourishing more than ever, thanks to strategic restoration efforts in recent years like freshwater introduction, transplantation, and morphological reshaping. 🌾

The comparison with 2020 is stunning: salinity levels have dropped and reeds have reclaimed vital space, becoming a safe haven for countless bird species and revitalizing a critical biodiversity hotspot. 🐦💧

Official data on the expansion will be released soon... but we’re already celebrating this incredible milestone!

🌱 Un canneto in piena espansione: la natura risponde! 🌱
Nel 2025 le attività After-LIFE continuano a regalare soddisfazioni! I recenti rilievi in campo hanno mostrato una crescita sorprendente del canneto, segno che gli interventi mirati degli ultimi anni, immissione di acqua dolce, trapianti e modellazione morfologica, stanno davvero facendo la differenza. 🌾

Il confronto con il 2020 è sbalorditivo: la salinità è diminuita e il canneto ha riconquistato spazio, offrendo rifugio a moltissime specie di uccelli e ripristinando un habitat fondamentale per la biodiversità locale. 🐦💧

Presto arriveranno i dati ufficiali sull’espansione… ma già possiamo festeggiare questo importante traguardo!

After-LIFE: new life for LIFE Lagoon Refresh information panels

The information panels describing the project, the habitats and species living in the area have resumed satisfying the curiosity of the bikers and walkers of the path that runs near the LIFE Lagoon Refresh project area. They were installed for the first time in June 2020, at the beginning of the cycle path and immediately after the hydraulic work, to illustrate the objectives and expected results of the project and the characteristics of the habitats and species involved from the project. Due to particularly intense weather events at the end of summer 2022, the noticeboards were removed leaving visitors unanswered questions. Finally, since February 2024, the new noticeboards have been replaced and they could perform their function for the coming years
