, “Circling Further Down”, prodotto da Francesco “Frankie” Groppo e co-prodotto da diverse etichette provenienti da tutta Italia tra cui Dio Drone, Dreamingorilla, Taxi Driver Rec e altre. Grazie a questi lavori, nel 2015 suonano in più di 60 concerti in tutta Italia. Nel 2018, dopo un cambio di formazione che vede entrare Enrico Reineri alla batteria, la band pubblica “Urgency” in Cd e Vinile. Questo disco segna una svolta per la band che raggiunge un suono più definito e personale. L’album viene pubblicato da una cordata di etichette DIY sparse tra USA, Italia, Francia e Svizzera. L’artwork è curato dall’illustratore “Solo Macello”, figura di riferimento dell’ambiente heavy che da questo lavoro in avanti si prenderà cura di tutte le grafiche della band. Alla fine del 2022 esce l’EP “In The Heart Of The City”, registrato nel loro studio da Francesco Martinat che da due anni ormai ha preso il posto di Luca come bassista. Il disco è frutto di anni di ricerca sia per quanto riguarda il suono, sia per la scrittura e cerca di scrollarsi di dosso qualsiasi etichetta legata al genere per provare a raggiungere un sound più originale possibile. Il mastering di questo lavoro è a cura di Jonathan Nuñez (Torche) del Sound Artillery Studio di Miami, Florida (USA). Il disco è prodotto da: Karma Conspiracy Records (IT), Araki Records (FR), Urgence Disk (CH), Forbidden Place Rec (USA). L’uscita di questo EP è accompagnata nuovamente da un tour con un numero considerevole di concerti tra Italia ed Europa, alcuni dei quali in situazioni prestigiose, come ad esempio “Heavy Psych Sound Fest”, “Hiroshima Mon Amour” di Torino, “Bloom” di Mezzago. Based in Fossano, Italy, Flying Disk is a musical project which came to life in 2010, from an idea by Simone Calvo, Mattia Fenoglio and Luca Mauro. Still teenagers and passionate about punk and hardcore, the boys find great inspiration from the Canalese Noise local scene, especially from bands like Dead Elephant, Cani Sciorrì, Ruggine and many others. Between 2012 and 2014 the band enters the studio twice, once for a demo and once for their first full length “Circling Further Down”, produced by Francesco “Frankie” Groppo and co-produced by many labels from all over Italy: Dio Drone, Taxi Driver Rec, Dreamingorilla and many others. Thanks to these records, in 2015, they had the pleasure to play over 60 shows all over the country. In 2018, after Mattia’s decision to leave the band, Enrico Reineri takes his place behind the drums and the band enters the studio again to record their second full length “Urgency”, released in Vinyl and CD. This record, which marks a very important change for the band, reaching a more personal sound, is produced by a vast amount of independent labels from Italy, France, Switzerland and USA. The Artwork is made by “Solo Macello”, a point of reference in the heavy music scene, whom from now on will take charge of all the band’s graphic works. The release of this record is followed by a tour in Italy and Europe. In the end of 2022, the band released the EP “In The Heart Of The City”, recorded and mixed in their own personal studio by Francesco Martinat, who took Luca’s place as bass player for two years now. The record is the result of years of research in both sound and songwriting and tries to shake off every genre labelling to reach a personality as original and fresh as possible. The mastering for this record is made by Jonathan Nuñez (Torche) of Sound Artillery Studio, Miami, Florida. The release of this EP is followed again by a tour with a considerable amount of gigs between Italy and Europe, some of them in prestigious situations, such as “Heavy Psych Sound Fest” , “Hiroshima Mon Amour” in Turin, “Bloom” in Mezzago.
