The International Workshop on "Sustainable Approaches for Water Treatment” was held in Clermont-Ferrand from 28 to 30th April 2026.

Oral presentation from DC2, Manuel Andino, at the 12th Franco-Italian Chemistry Days (JFIC 2026), held on April 9-10, 2026, in Nice, France.

Our DCs, Augusto Misolas (DC5), Marina Anastasiou (DC7) and Fhebe Angus (DC10) at the 2nd International Conference on Circularity, Sustainability and Resilience in Water, Wastewater and Sludge Management (CSRW26), bringing oral and poster presentations. The conference was held from March 29 to April 1, 2026 in Thessaloniki, Greece.

On the occasion of the final closure of the SusWater project, the MSCA & Erasmus talk workshop was organized in collaboration with the IN2AQUAS project.

The 10th Mediterranean Conference on Desalination and Water Treatment (CMTDE 2026), held on 25-27 March 2026 in Hammamet, Tunisia, was organized by Professor Bechir Hamrouni.
Thanks to the oral presentations of DC 15, Houda Mhadhbi, and Isabel Oller.

Our DCs Paolo Iaconis and Manuel Andino, in collaboration with Federico Cristaudo, participated in Science is Wonderful!, the European Commission's major public engagement initiative in Brussels, after passing a highly competitive selection process from over 200 projects. The event takes research outside the lab, connecting scientists, students, and citizens directly to share science in an accessible and engaging way.
On this occasion, Federico and Manuel presented the SusWater and IN2AQUAS projects, dedicated to developing sustainable solutions for water monitoring and treatment.
A great achievement and a wonderful example of how research can engage with society!
