Colori e Materiali – Nuove sperimentazioni.

Cari amici e colleghi, viste le tante richieste, dopo il successo del nostro primo Atelier sui materiali e i colori e delle sue tante repliche abbiamo pensato (anche per non annoiarci!) di proporne uno completamente nuovo.
Sì, parleremo ancora di materiali e colori – uno dei temi che più caratterizza la ricerca del nostro studio – ma questa volta lo faremo partendo da nuovi progetti e da contesti diversi.
Dal primo Atelier sono passati alcuni anni e nel frattempo altri nostri lavori hanno visto la luce: è arrivato il momento di raccontarveli.
Si tratta di progetti che hanno aperto per noi percorsi inediti e stimolanti sull’uso dei materiali e del colore, e che vogliamo condividere per offrire strumenti utili a progettare in maniera originale, lontano dalle mode e dagli stereotipi.
Attraverso un dialogo diretto con Andrea Marcante e Adelaide Testa, il corso sarà l’occasione per imparare a scegliere, trasformare e sperimentare i materiali più adatti ai tuoi progetti di interior design, tra esigenze di clienti privati e collaborazioni con le aziende.
Parleremo di abitare, ma anche di chi i materiali li produce, e di spazi commerciali in cui il colore e la materia diventano elementi chiave nell’identità di un marchio.
Siamo sempre più convinti che materiali e colori siano strumenti straordinari e, come in ogni nostro Atelier, il nostro obiettivo (con l’ambizione di migliorarci sempre!) resta quello di offrirvi strumenti concreti per i vostri progetti, approfondendo in particolare la conoscenza dell’uso del colore e dei materiali.
Un percorso di quattro incontri online (per informazioni e costi scrivi a [email protected] ) costruito attorno a tanti progetti, a un metodo che li sostiene e a contenuti sempre diversi che li orientano. Ci sarà spazio per la condivisione e, per non prenderci sempre troppo sul serio, anche per raccontare quel “dietro le quinte” con i clienti che, a volte, oscilla tra il tragico e il comico.

Colors and Materials – New Experimentations.

ONLINE STREAMING COURSE FROM 19/11 to 10/12.

Dear friends and colleagues, given the high demand, after the success of our first Atelier on materials and colors and its many replicas, we decided (also to avoid getting bored!) to propose a completely new one.
Yes, we will still talk about materials and colors – one of the themes that most characterizes our studio's research – but this time we will do so starting from new projects and different contexts.
A few years have passed since the first Atelier, and in the meantime, other works of ours have seen the light: the time has come to tell you about them.
These are projects that have opened up new and stimulating paths for us in the use of materials and color, and we want to share them to offer useful tools for designing in an original way, far from trends and stereotypes.
Through direct dialogue with Andrea Marcante and Adelaide Testa, the course will be an opportunity to learn how to choose, transform, and experiment with the most suitable materials for your interior design projects, addressing the needs of private clients and collaborations with companies.
We'll discuss living spaces, but also those who produce them, and commercial spaces where color and texture become key elements of a brand's identity.
We're increasingly convinced that materials and colors are extraordinary tools, and as in all our ateliers, our goal (with the ambition of always improving!) remains to offer you concrete tools for your projects, particularly deepening your understanding of the use of color and materials.
A program of four online meetings (for information and pricing, please contact [email protected]) built around a variety of projects, a method that supports them, and ever-changing content that guides them. There will be room for sharing and, so as not to always take ourselves too seriously, also to talk about that "behind the scenes" with customers that, at times, oscillates between the tragic and the comical.

How do you lighten up a 1958 Turinese apartment in a building designed by Ada Bursi, one of Italy’s first female architects? Add color and texture, but not so much as to distract from its history.....“This apartment, Marcante-Testa says, “was a way for us to speak about her.”
“[For her] beauty was not in the value of the materials — it was in how you worked with them,” says Andrea Marcante, 58, who runs the Turinese architecture studio Marcante-Testa with his longtime friend Adelaide Testa, 58. “Bursi believed in democratic luxury.”
