Be More Bored

This boredom asks to be fulfilled too...to check the flow of notifications, scroll down, scroll up, select the next film in the queue. Boredom appears to be the enemy of the muse, but in fact it is the very same thing: a space that demands attention. But what kind of attention? At our workshops, we practice at being more bored. We have designed a program of analog arts that work in synergy to cultivate our minds, strengthen our attention and restore our original vitality. These "5 elements" are the visual arts, creative writing, mindfulness meditation, reading, and nature journeys. Each element serves as a part within a greater whole, drawing participants closer towards their own ineffable nature. Set in compelling outdoor venues and led by experienced facilitators, we relearn the boundless state of our imagination and make discoveries as children again.
