Yesterday afternoon Leonardo Drone Contest has seen first manche take place in airfield. Sponsor scatters targets called ArUco in whole field, something similar to QR Code. The aim is: drone's camera have to recognaise targets while it's flyng on the area. At beginning there is a random draw of some targets previosly scatted in the field. Only them would give scores. So drone and rover are equipted with these informations just before the launch. We are definetly proud of drone's performance. Today took place out second manche and you may have seen our stories so you know that we ranked second! We will tell how it ended in tomorrow post!

Ieri pomeriggio ha visto tenersi la prima manche della gara al campo di volo. L'obiettivo è riconoscere dei bersagli, gli ArUco, simili a QR code, sparsi sul campo. Ad inizio gara alcuni bersagli sono scelti e attivati tra quelli già presenti, il team fa punti quando il drone riconosce un ArUco attivo. Siamo fieri della nostra prestazione. Oggi si è tenuta la seconda manche della gara e se avete visto le nostre stories saprete che ci siamo classificati secondi! Vi racconteremo come è andata nel post di domani!
