Its historical role as a promoter of dialogue among peoples creates the ideal location for the only Italian Model of United Nations officially recognized by the World Federation of the United Nations Associations (WFUNA). ROMUN is organized by the Students' Movement for International Organizations (MSOI), the United Nations Youth Association (UNYA) Italy. MSOI is also the youth branch of the Italian Society for International Organization (SIOI), which is the Italian United Nations Association (UNA) and one of the founding members of the WFUNA.
