✈️ In some of the world’s most inaccessible, conflict‑affected places, air drops are often the only way to reach people on the front lines of hunger.

Through WFP Aviation and the UN Humanitarian Air Service (UNHAS), WFP delivered over 13,000 tons of humanitarian aid in 2025 and airdropped an additional 9,400 tons of food into South Sudan’s most isolated areas.

Beyond food, WFP‑managed UNHAS also transported staff from 217 humanitarian organizations, making life‑saving operations possible where no other access exists.
