The building itself works as a hinge between past and contemporaneity, rising on the imperial Forum of the Peace (78 AD)and being an Hostel for pilgrims since late 14thCentury during the official, recurrent celebrations of the catholic church. Fully renewed in 2007-2011, building still keeps many of the features and aspects of the original spaces that reach their top in the inner garden: An unique and surprising space that reminds its history even if new elements of architecture and design have been introduced after renovation.
