I was lucky to be loved by an extraordinary woman.

My grandmother taught me how to laugh and cry with dignity.
To choose freedom.
To go for it — even when I was terrified.

She taught me to build something no one could ever take away from me. That lesson saved me.

Today is her birthday.
Honoring and missing her today and every day.

I am forever grateful she said yes to Fck Art, Let’s Dance — immortalized by mighty just before I lost her.
