I saw this post from Charles Awuzie this morning.

While he was preparing for his Evolve Conference 2.0, the Big Brain Naija was also on a side burner, intended to take off as soon as the Evolve Conference 2.0 was landed.

Honestly, I've followed these two events from a distance, particularly because I was in the US when the Evolve Conference was being organised.

However, the Big Brain Naija was the one that captured my interest in a more spectacular way. I guess you already know why. For the first time, perhaps, I could hear something that sounded differently from Big Brother Naija.

Furthermore, the Big Brother Naija show appears to have lost its attraction, glamour and lustre for many reasons. Prominent among which are the hike in DSTV subscription, the hike in fuel price and the general economic downturn.

It is no surprise, therefore, that the Big Brain Naija is trending more than the Big Yansh (I mean. .., Brother) Naija.

Another, highlight of the Big Brain Naija conference is that it was made open to the general public and has garnered support from government and private corporations. I actually wish I was there.

Nevertheless, the event has not trended enough. It should get more attention than the Big Brother (Nyash) Naija.

Mr. Charles Awuzie (I don't know him much) has been able to make an impact in the social media agora and it is no mean one. Huge kudos to him.
