I bet you are familiar with YO-YO Effect.

💪🏼 When you start a new diet or a fitness program, and you fail… or get results but after a couple of weeks you lose shape again.

😓 We’ve been there… We failed not once… We cried… We gave up dozens times…

🤪 We are not enlightened gurus. Oh, we wish we were!

Alena - a proud single mom of 2 boys, who tried to figure out the way back to her pre-baby body.

YOUR BRAIN PROTECTS YOU FROM CHANGES ⛔️

It’s a common fact that the number one task of our brain is survival.

So logically thinking if we try to improve our lifestyle/health/body our brain should celebrate it.

But no, it’s the other way round!

Every time when we try to change something start exercising, eating healthier, reduce stress which seems to be good for our body and mind…

Your body and mind start rejecting those changes and you keep yourself busy with common routine or create excuses to avoid this new thing.

It’s uncomfortable, it’s stressful 😖

1️⃣The thing is that you brain takes changes as something unfamiliar

2️⃣ Unfamiliar - means possible danger

3️⃣ And brain tries to protect you from unknown so you have more chances to survive in the warm and safe place.

That cause REJECTION & RESISTANCE.

💔 And that is the main reason why most of people can’t even start or give up halfway.

❤️‍🩹 But you can show your brain that changes can be comfortable and even pleasant.

THROW AWAY YOUR BATHROOM SCALES🤪

and judge the progress by the way you look and feel instead.

Each I Evolve challenge group has girls who check their body weight every day and their mood depends on those numbers.

But there could be many reasons why you are progressing with no changes in body weight. Such as:

Amount of water in your body can vary depending on - workouts, - hormones, - period, - food that you ate in the past 1-3 days, - the amount of salt you consumed

More to it you can even gain weight due to the muscle growth.

This is the reason we ask our challenge participants to take pictures every 3 days and take measurements accordingly.

So please don't be too hard on yourself ladies and start loving what you see in the mirror.
