Those three corinthian colomns belong to the Temple of the Dioscuri which are divine Twins Castor and Pollux who according ti legend appeared to the dictator Aulus Postumius before the decisive battle against latin enemies. The Temple was dwdicated in 484 BC and the divine Twins became protectors of the knight class. The Temple was a Tuscan-type with three cells and a deep pronaos. Podium and walls are in blocks of square work of Cappellaccio.
