Il Pollaio, come realtà autogestita dagli studenti dell’Università di Padova, si schiera contro il genocidio perpetrato ai danni del popolo palestinese.

In quanto realtà studentesca organizziamo un incontro per approfondire le dinamiche che hanno portato e che sottostanno all’attuale situazione palestinese, con il contributo di alcuni esperti sul tema.

Interverranno Samed Ismail, dei Giovani Palestinesi Italia, il Professor Marco Mascia, presidente del centro di Ateneo per i Diritti Umani e il Dottor Alberto Lanzavecchia, coordinatore dei dottorandi in Diritti Umani.

Al termine degli interventi ci sarà uno spazio dedicato al dibattito. Per gestire al meglio le tempistiche, è attivo un form che trovate al LINK IN BIO per raccogliere le domande che saranno rivolte ai relatori.

L’incontro - dibattito sarà accompagnato da un aperitivo di raccolta fondi il cui ricavato verrà devoluto all’UNRWA, a sostegno della popolazione civile palestinese.

Pollaio, as a self-managed entity by the students of the University of Padua, stands against the genocide perpetrated against the Palestinian people.

As a student-led initiative we are organizing a meeting to delve into the dynamics that have led to and underlie the current situation in Palestine, with the contribution of some experts on the subject.

Speakers will include Samed Ismail, from Giovani Palestinesi Italia, Professor Marco Mascia, president of the University’s Center for Human Rights, and Dr. Alberto Lanzavecchia, coordinator of doctoral students in Human Rights.

At the end of the talks, there will be a dedicated space for debate. To manage the timing effectively, a form is active at the LINK IN BIO to collect questions that will be addressed to the speakers.

The meeting-debate will be accompanied by a fundraising aperitif, the proceeds of which will be donated to UNRWA, in support of the Palestinian civilian population.

come forse avrete sentito in questi giorni il problema della chiusura nel periodo natalizio non si è risolto. Da ormai 14 anni il Pollaio è sempre rimasto aperto ogni giorno dell’anno grazie alla collaborazione degli studenti che si sono susseguiti negli anni. Domani 24 dicembre, per la prima volta, l’Università ha deciso di chiudere le porte del Pollaio e negare agli studenti la possibilità di studiare.

⚠️A fronte di ciò, dopo una ricerca di dialogo con il Dipartimento e l’Ateneo, che non ha portato nessun risultato, si è deciso di occupare l’aula studio da 01.00 del 24 dicembre fino a 01.00 del 27 dicembre, a meno di riscontri positivi dagli organi competenti e responsabili dell’apertura/chiusura del Pollaio.

Anche se con rammarico per la spiacevole situazione, siamo lieti di informarvi che domani e nei giorni seguenti il Pollaio manterrà il solito orario di apertura. Chi volesse appoggiare la nostra causa e rimanere oltre al solito orario, sempre nel rispetto degli spazi e delle norme di buona condotta, è ben accetto!

Hello chickens 🐔
as you may have heard these days, the problem of being closed over the Christmas period has not been solved. For 14 years now, the Chicken House has always remained open every day of the year thanks to the cooperation of the students over the years. Tomorrow 24 December, for the first time, the University has decided to close the doors of the Pollaio and deny students the opportunity to study.
⚠In view of this, after a search for dialogue with the Department and the University, which did not bring any results, it was decided to occupy the study room from 01.00 a.m. on 24 December until 01.00 a.m. on 27 December, unless positive feedback is received from the competent bodies responsible for opening/closing the Pollaio.

Although we regret the unfortunate situation, we are pleased to inform you that tomorrow and the following days the Chicken House will maintain its usual opening hours. Anyone wishing to support our cause and stay beyond the usual hours, while respecting the space and the rules of good behaviour, is welcome!

ASSEMBLEA STRAORDINARIA oggi, 22/12, ore 19:00

Abbiamo deciso di chiamare un'assemblea straordinaria per parlare e discutere tutti assieme di ciò che sta succedendo con l'Università in quest'ultimo periodo, che ci coinvolge da vicino per la chiusura nei nostri confronti, ma anche in un'ottica più ampia che riguarda i diritti di tutti gli studenti, in particolari quelli internazionali.
Mi auguro che, nonostante il poco preavviso, la partecipazione sia alta.
Vi aspettiamo tutti qui in Acquario!!

EXTRAORDINARY MEETING today, 22/12, 7 pm

We have decided to call an extraordinary meeting to talk and discuss all together what is happening with the University in this last period, which involves us closely because of the closure towards us, but also in a broader perspective concerning the rights of all students, especially international students.
I hope that, despite the short notice, participation will be high.

VERBALE RIUNIONE POLLAIO:

L'AULA STUDIO POLLAIO AUTOGESTITA SI RIUNISCE

PARTECIPANTI: 12 persone

Sono stati discussi i seguenti punti:
- gestione chiusure
- chiusure di natale
- rapporti tra l'aula autogestita e Dipartimento di fisica
- aperitivo Pollaio per LEONARDO

- varie ed eventuali
C'è un problema di partecipazione nella gestione interna dell'aula studio.
La riunione del Pollaio ha rilevato una carenza massiccia negli ultimi mesi nella partecipazione e nella presenza effettiva di gestori all'interno dell'aula, ad oggi la situazione è più controllata e più stabile. Tuttavia, la riunione trova necessario aggiornare e rinnovare il gruppo, dal momento in cui molte persone non partecipano effettivamente in modo concreto e non si attivano direttamente in modo volontario.
Ci si pone quindi la domanda: le persone che non aiutano dovrebbero essere tolte dal gruppo telegram?
L'aula studio del Pollaio è una comunità inclusiva, nonostante ciò la riunione con voto democratico a maggioranza assoluta ha ritenuto opportuno ridurlo alle sole persone che si interessano all'aula studio. La riunione delega a Sabrina la messa in atto di questa decisione.
Per il rinnovamento la riunione ha deciso di dotarsi di una nuova strategia comunicativa: verranno appese delle locandine in tutti i locali autogestiti della struttura dell'edificio Paolotti (Pollaio, Serra, Acquario, Common Room, bagni). Per trasmettere la massima trasparenza e partecipazione le locandine saranno dotate di QRcode per smartphone e link di collegamento diretto al gruppo Telegram di gestione.
Per gestire le nuove chiusure la riunione ha deciso di passare al vecchio metodo, perchè pareva più inclusivo e partecipativo. L'incaricato volontario della gestione settimanale delle chiusure invierà un messaggio con le opzioni di chiusura direttamente sul gruppo Telegram del Pollaio in modo che tutti gli studenti interessati possano rispondere e interessarsi.

Il Dipartimento di Fisica ha comunicato che intende chiudere la struttura del Paolotti i giorni: 24, 25, 26 e 31 dicembre, 1 e 6 gennaio. La riunione si impegna a trovare un'organizzazione tra studenti volontari per gestire le chiusure nei giorni precedentemente indicati.

Chi è Serena Sannicola?
Nuovo tecnico amministrativo responsabile anche del Settore Inclusione e che si occupa dell'organizzazione dei 200oristi. Va assolutamente ridiscussa la definizione e la circoscrizione delle funzioni tra: lavoratori esternalizzati dell'UNIPD, 200oristi e gestori del Pollaio.

Verrà mandata una mail di richiesta di incontro con il direttore del Dipartimento di Fisica per chiarire la disponibilità del locale Common Room ad essere riutilizzato per bevande e ristoro.

La riunione, dopo aver discusso attentamente sull'aiutare o meno Leonardo e il movimento di Scientist Rebellion, ha deciso attraverso metodo democratico a maggioranza assoluta di organizzare un aperitivo in aula Serra per il giorno martedì 29 dalle 21.30. L'evento sarà preceduto da un dibattito con il diretto interessato, in seguito sarà organizzato un rinfresco (da ricordare che i drink alcolici sarebbero vietati all'interno della struttura dell'ateneo come da regolamento).

Durante la discussione è emersa la proposta di discutere nuovamente in futuro sull'idea di scrivere una Carta Valoriale da seguire come linea guida per prendere decisioni di stampo politico.

Si è deciso inoltre che a Natale verrà organizzato un'altro rinfresco con eventualmente un mercatino di beneficienza e lotteria per i saluti e gli auguri di buone feste.

ADDOBBI E DISEGNI IN SERRA
Per quanto riguarda l'intenzione di creare dei murales in Common Room e in Serra il gruppo Telegram dei SerraDipintori un mese fa ha organizzato una riunione per fare il punto della situazione. La riunione dei dipintori è stata largamente pubblicizzata nei gruppi Telegram legati al Pollaio.
In questa sede si è decisio che i dipintori si sarebbero presi un periodo di due settimane per accumulare delle idee sui murales in modo da creare un progetto che desse il più ampio respiro alle tematiche che stanno più a cuore agli studenti. Attualmente sono state presentate due bozze di due possibili murales: uno riguardante la tematica dei crediti legati all'attività degli studenti in generale (problematica molto sentita al cui contesto sono legati in modo diretto sucidi e studenti morti in alternanza scuola-lavoro), l'altro le proteste contro l'immobilismo della classe dirigente rispetto le decisioni sulle tematiche ambientali.

Vengono delegati i dipintori presenti (Picci e Giada) a presentare un progetto definitivo e concreto per il 30 novembre.
La riunione ha discusso la possibilità di addobbare il Pollaio per le festività natalizie e ha delegato a Giada la creazione di vari addobbi. Inoltre, si è parlato della possibilità di portare dei cuscini nel locale Serra per poter utilizzare i davanzali delle finestre come comode panchine.

E' stato inoltre messa in luce la problematica legata alla mancanza di mobilio nel locale bagno e Common Room, in particolare servirebbero dei pensili o armadietti da adibire al contenimento di oggetti e/o stoviglie di vario genere. In fine, si ricorda la incisiva mancanza di un progetto per la costruzione di un lavandino in Commn Room (la problematica verrà portata al direttore del Dipartimento di fisica Seno).

VARIE ED EVENTUALI:
E' stata avanzata la proposta di riprendere con il "Giovedì Letterario", si è deciso di procedere con due appuntamenti pilota: giovedì 24 novembre e 1 dicembre si organizzerà il "giovedi letterario" con delega organizzativa a Sharon e Laura

La questione della Quiet Room: l'università è molto contraria all'apertura al pubblico dell'aula Quiet Room, quindi si è pensato di proporre una collaborazione con il Servizio Inclusione per fornire un servizio serale più esteso.

Bisogna aggiornare Il Manuale del Bravo Pollo affinchè le informazioni siano più fruibili da tutti e integrare con delle giornate di formazione per gli studenti universitari volontari che vogliono partecipare di più.

SELF-MANAGED "POLLAIO" MEETING

There is a participation problem in the internal management of the study room.
The Pollaio meeting noted a massive shortage in the last few months in the participation and effective presence of managers within the classroom, now the situation is more controlled and more stable. However, the meeting finds it necessary to update and renew the group, since many people do not actually participate in a concrete way and are not directly active on a voluntary basis.
The question then arises: should people who do not help be removed from the telegram group?
The study room at the Pollaio is an inclusive community, despite this the meeting with an absolute majority democratic vote saw fit to reduce it to only people who are interested in the study room. The meeting delegated the implementation of this decision to Sabrina.
For the renewal, the meeting decided on a new communication strategy: posters will be hung in all the self-managed rooms of the Paolotti building (Pollaio, Greenhouse, Aquarium, Common Room, bathrooms). To convey maximum transparency and participation, the posters will be equipped with a QRcode for smartphones and a direct link to the management Telegram group.
To manage the new closures, the meeting decided to switch to the old method, because it seemed more inclusive and participatory. The volunteer in charge of the weekly management of the closures will send a message with the closure options directly to the Pollaio Telegram group so that all interested students can respond and take an interest.

The Physics Department has announced that it intends to close the Paolotti facility on 24, 25, 26 and 31 December, 1 and 6 January. The meeting pledged to find an organisation among student volunteers to manage the closures on the aforementioned days.

Who is Serena Sannicola?
A new administrative technician who is also responsible for the Inclusion Sector and is in charge of organising the 200hours. The definition and demarcation of functions between: UNIPD outsourced workers, 200orists and managers of the Pollaio must absolutely be rediscussed.

An e-mail requesting a meeting will be sent to the director of the Physics Department to clarify the availability of the Common Room to be reused for drinks and refreshments.

The meeting, after careful discussion on whether or not to help Leonardo and the Scientist Rebellion movement, decided through a democratic method by an absolute majority to organise an aperitif in the Greenhouse Room on Tuesday 29 from 9.30 p.m. The event will be preceded by a debate with the interested party, after which refreshments will be provided (it should be remembered that alcoholic drinks would be prohibited inside the university building as per regulations).

During the discussion, a proposal emerged to discuss again in the future the idea of writing a Charter of Values to be followed as a guideline for making political decisions.

It was also decided that another Christmas reception with possibly a charity market and raffle would be organised at Christmas for greetings and holiday greetings.

DECORATIONS AND DESIGNS IN THE GREENHOUSE

The painters present (Picci and Giada) were delegated to present a final, concrete project by 30 November.
The meeting discussed the possibility of decorating the Pollaio for the Christmas holidays and delegated Giada to create various decorations. In addition, the possibility of bringing cushions into the Greenhouse room was discussed so that the window sills could be used as comfortable benches.

The problem of the lack of furniture in the bathroom and Common Room was also highlighted, in particular the need for cupboards or cabinets to hold various objects and/or dishes. Lastly, the incisive lack of a project to construct a sink in the Commn Room is recalled (the issue will be brought to the attention of the Director of the Physics Department, Seno).

Any other business:
A proposal was made to resume with the "Literary Thursday", it was decided to proceed with two pilot dates: Thursday 24 November and 1 December will be organised "Literary Thursday" with organisational delegation to Sharon and Laura

The issue of the Quiet Room: the university is very much against opening the Quiet Room to the public, so it was decided to propose a collaboration with the Inclusion Service to provide a more extensive evening service.

We need to update The Good Chicken Handbook so that the information is more usable by everyone and supplement it with training days for university student volunteers who want to participate more.
