This Juneteenth (19th) - we’ve got you covered. Let’s explore another aspect of what makes this region’s food so special as we explore the very best that Caserta has to offer.

The theme is Pizza - so in the morning we will visit one of the best buffalo mozzarella factories in all of Italy, learning about the special water buffalos and experiencing cheesemaking first hand along with a tasting and some wine.
Next we find our way to lunch in a special agriturismo where we learn about the importance of the local produce in region, like olives, and how they produce their slow-food certified products, served not only in their restaurant but also supplied to the best restaurants pizzerias in the world (Pepe in Grani & I Masanielli).
Last, but not least, we venture into the town of Caiazzo for an evening of pizza sampling at Pepe in Grani, made famous from the Netflix special, The Chef’s Table. We taste our way through some of their signature antipasti, sampling of various pizzas and lastly desert pizzas.

Departure around 845AM and return around 9PM. Come hungry!!
