Metrogramma

There is something humbling about marble — its age, its weight, its silence.

We spent a morning at Margraf’s factory near Vicenza, guided personally by Mr. Xompero through their world of stone.

Our studio, as you may know, designed the park at the entrance for the factory, so walking through it felt like coming full circle. And it got even better when we ended the day sitting down for lunch inside the space we created. 
There’s nothing quite like experiencing a project you designed, from the inside, as a guest.

This year, Metrogramma will not be actively participating in Milano Design Week. However, we’d still love to share some of our recommendations on what to see and experience throughout the week. Enjoy!

Metrogramma definition: A boundary that becomes rythm, code, language. The fence
