hails from Andria, a town located in the southern part of Italy, but his love for music has taken him far beyond the Mediterranean. A passionate clubber who has traversed Europe, he developed a fondness for electronic music, particularly deep, tech, hypnotic, and extended cuts that are pressed onto vinyl. This is the kind of sound that he pursues as a DJ. Based in Berlin for 12 years now - where he’s really come of age as a DJ and producer - he’s played at virtually all the city’s greatest clubs, from .berlin to to .club.official and many others.

First arriving on our radar thanks to his classic track, La Musique (released via his own label Point of View), we’ve since discovered a whole host of Lomonte gems. Indeed, you can experience his musical vision in its purest form through his releases on various labels, including Sammy Dee's Ultrastretch, his own aforementioned label, Point of View, and always-excellent

I was born in a divided country and witnessed the reunification 32 years ago because even former communist leaders realized that the power of human rights to vote, to choose what kind of country to live in, the human right to take part in the democratic process stands above historic values. What we are witnessing the past days is the attempt to reverse exactly that.

Ukraine is a sovereign country since the Soviet Union dissolved 31 years ago. The Russian attack against Ukraine is also an attack agains democratic values your parents and their parents worked hard for!

If you asked all Ukrainians today (or a year ago for that matter) to peacefully vote democratically for either Putin or for their own Ukrainian president, the outcome would be crystal clear.

Further, no wrongdoing of any other country or missed opportunities (like the US or “the west”) justify the aggression. Mistakes were made yes. They don’t justify the invasion of a free country!

I stand with Ukraine and all Ukrainians and demand peace and democratic choice of the people.

P.s.: anyone wanting to argue with me about foreign interests (from wherever) being “the reason” for this aggression can go ahead and unfollow, unfriend or delete me from their lives. I will not discuss any causal relationships, or models which justify such aggressive undemocratic behavior displayed by the county of Russia (not all of its citizens of course) and its authoritarian madman.
