TEMPORARY INSTALLATIONS AND MYTHOLOGY?
Certain works of art and temporary installations truly open up new worlds of imagination, objects, and emotional landscapes. Reinventing meanings, ways of finding oneself, and small collective rituals.
Today we said goodbye to PTERO by artist Duilio Forte, who inhabited the foyer of Stecca3 sociocultural center for a year, then flew away and returns to the artist’s magnificent farmhouse studio,

We’re delighted with Wu Zengzhen’s M-US-T internship at Temporiuso. We’ll soon involve her in new projects between Italy and China.

What do the students of M-US-T Master in Temporary Uses think of their experience? Which modules, lectures, and projects inspired them the most? And where are they completing their internships?
Wu Zengzhen is an architect and cultural advocate specialising in , , and . She holds a bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Yangtze University in China and a Master’s in Environment and Heritage Design from Kyushu University in Japan.
“(...) Throughout this Master, I have gained valuable insights into the temporary uses of urban space, including its definition, key tools, and applications. (...) I would like to soon apply it to the Chinese context too, adapting the tools to the local fragilities of abandonment, underuse, but also for large events and their legacy”.
She is currently an intern at Temporiuso.net. She organized and archived the association’s published books and case studies of temporary urban use, gaining in-depth insight into European practices. She translated key materials into Chinese and adapted the content for Chinese audiences. Furthermore, she published selected content on Xiaohongshu (RED), promoting the concept of temporary urban use and projects from Italy to a Chinese audience and facilitating cross-cultural exchange.
