Serpentine | Lead R&D Fellows, Ecology
2026

We’re very happy to announce a multi-year collaboration with Serpentine Serpentine . We will join the organisation as Lead R&D Fellows, Ecology. The partnership strengthens Serpentine’s long-term commitment to embedding environmental thinking across its programme, operations, and organisational culture.

Working across Serpentine’s programmes and systems, Formafantasma will help develop new approaches to integrating ecological thinking into Serpentine’s day-to-day activities and long-term strategy.

From summer 2026, the collaboration will begin with an in-depth research phase to map Serpentine’s existing processes and systems, from curatorial practices to operational structures, identifying opportunities for ecological intervention and long-term change.

Running alongside this work, a multi-year public programme will invite audiences into the process, creating opportunities to share, document, and disseminate the findings and methodologies emerging from the ongoing research.

More to come soon.

La Bottega Italiana Colours – Blēo

Blēo is a design-led colour and surface collective based in Copenhagen. They explore the dialogue between colour, material, and context, creating paints and tiles that elevate the aesthetic standards of contemporary interior architecture.

The La Bottega Italiana colour palette draws its atmosphere from the interiors of the Italian neighborhood bottega. Places shaped by routine, local life and daily essentials rather than design intent

Formafantasma has created a vernacular palette of 14 colours ranging from Soft Charcoal to Worn Leather, and from Soft Sage to Pale Stone.
