Name: Gravity
Findspot: Mars, Elysium Planitia
Context: Pressurized living module
Typology: Resistance device
Description:
Modular object composed of two circular, padded volumes connected by a central cylindrical element. Each end presents a segmented, cushion-like structure, resembling inflated rings or compact planetary forms.
The object appears symmetrical and balanced, suggesting controlled rolling and resistance. Its morphology evokes both a weight and a wheel, positioning it between exercise equipment, mobility device, and interactive domestic tool.
The padded surface, defined by visible stitching, creates a tactile and skin-like quality consistent with other soft domestic artifacts from the same environment. The central connection functions as a grip or axis, enabling lifting, rolling, and rotational use.

Name: Orbit
Findspot: Mars, Elysium Planitia
Context: Settlement find
Typology: Mobility device
Description:
Soft pouf characterized by a volumetric, segmented body and two prominent ear-like appendages emerging from its upper structure.
Unlike standard seating units, this object appears to function not only as furniture but as a companion entity within the domestic environment. The ear-like forms may serve as handles, sensory extensions, or symbolic features suggesting interaction, presence, or responsiveness. The stitched surface creates a skin-like texture, reinforcing the impression of a semi-animated object. Mounted on small rotating wheels, the pouf suggests autonomous or assisted mobility, enabling it to follow or accompany inhabitants within the habitat.
Its morphology and detailing indicate a design evolution where utility merges with emotional or social function, possibly addressing isolation in extraterrestrial living conditions.

Sound transforms with a more human pulse created by disco’s energizing, superficial exuberance.
Thumping with this vibe, the arena turns into a dance floor populated by human and robots alike, with choreographed performances throughout the week. The space serves as a playful short-circuit between eras where the pop culture of MCM’s
origin years collides headfirst with a new dimension, light years away.
A journey that challenges the concepts of time and space by transforming the Rotonda del Pellegrini in the heart of Milan into a three-level video-game-style spaceship soaring towards the Red Planet.
