Res Animata is a stop-motion studio crafting small physical worlds to tell sharp, intelligent stories. We work with real materials, puppets and handmade sets to create visually rich films for brands, editorial projects and original narratives. Founded in Milan, born from Lovorphosis.

Tiny magnetic skis engineered.
Lights, camera, frame-by-frame animation.
And finally: editing, timing, and a bit of magic.
This is why we love stop motion:
every project becomes a small world where writing, sculpture, costume-making, photography, set design and animation all live together.
A handcrafted, messy, joyful process — and, despite the long hours, never boring.
