ll grande tennis è andato in scena al Foro Italico per l’81esima edizione degli Internazionali d’Italia, e proprio per il Centrale del Tennis avevamo studiato una proposta progettuale che lo trasformasse da una struttura outdoor ad una indoor - utilizzabile anche per attività culturali e di spettacolo. L’obiettivo sarebbe stato raggiunto attraverso una porzione di copertura traslucida in corrispondenza del campo di gioco, che ne garantisse una tenuta impermeabile e termica, nonché una una rapida apertura e chiusura.

Great tennis was on stage at the Foro Italico for the 81st edition of the Internazionali d’Italia, and it was precisely for the Centrale del Tennis that we had studied a design proposal that would transform it from an outdoor structure to an indoor one - that could also be used for cultural activities and shows. The objective would have been achieved by means of a translucent roof portion in correspondence with the playing court, which would guarantee a waterproof and thermal seal, as well as rapid opening and closing.
