From today until 24 January, my VR short film 'Kursaal' is in competition in the SMART BIARRITZ IMMERSIVE section at Fipadoc 2024 | International Documentary Festival. Made during an artistic residency at the SPEKTRUM Rumelange, the film tells the story of the CineKursaal, the oldest movie theater in Luxembourg. Through the story of the Massard family, the historic owners of the movie theater, 'Kursaal' tells the story of the past, present and future of Cinema, from flammable films to immersive technologies.

We are happy and proud to announce that our VR film “MONTEGELATO" - conceived, directed and edited by Davide Rapp - has been selected to participate in the Venice VR Expanded Competition, at the 78th La Biennale di Venezia to be held from 1st to 11th September 2021. "MONTEGELATO" is a VR editing film, the first of its kind. The project, developed with the aid and commitment of Andrea Dal Martello and Giorgio De Marco is the result of almost 5 years of research: hundreds of film sequences define a three-dimensional and immersive collage of the Monte Gelato Falls (RM) as they have been filmed in over 180 productions including films, TV series and commercials. The film will be shown at the Palazzo del Casinò (Lido di Venezia) and at 14 satellite venues in 10 different countries. "MONTEGELATO" is in competition with 22 other immersive experiences from all over the world.
