Our last dinner in Milan was at . Braises beef cheek on saffron risotto, grilled squid, and a beef tenderloin smothered in a green peppercorn sauce. This felt like a neighborhood family restaurant, and a perfect final meal for this amazing vacation.

I had the best gelato (and possibly frozen creamy dessert!) of my life in Bologna.

The traditional crema is something I will never forget.
